Dr. Margaret Puccio
Dr. Margaret Puccio, DVM, DACVS received her veterinary degree from Cornell University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She received the prestigious American College of Veterinary Surgeons Award during her senior year. She went on to complete a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. She completed her post-doctor surgical internship and residency training on Long Island and was accepted to the American College of Veterinary Surgeons as a boarded certified veterinary surgeon in 2005. She has been a practicing veterinarian on Long Island for over 25 years. She has been published in the Journal of American Animal Hospital Association for research on canine elbow dysplasia and has received surgical certification in both Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy and Tibial Tuberosity Advancement. She performs orthopedic, soft tissue, neurosurgery, and oncologic surgery.
