WHO IS ASC?

Animal Surgical Center (AAHA-accredited) is a pet/pet parent focused practice that strives to deliver excellent service at a fair price. Between our veterinary surgeons, emergency doctors, and specialized support staff, ASC concentrates on serving the community by saving as many animal lives as possible.

WHO YOU ARE:

ASC is seeking full time, part-time and relief Emergency Veterinarians to join our team in our brand new 24/7 Emergency & Surgical facility located in Oceanside, NY. You will see and treat a variety of emergency cases in addition to providing medical oversight to ICU, post-operative and critical care patients. Some after-hours and weekend shifts will be required, however ER doctors rotate to ensure ample time off.

Our BRAND NEW hospital is equipped with oxygen cages, transfusion products, multi-parameter monitors, and a brand new ultrasound machines dedicated to our ER. We have a full in-house laboratory, as well as an established reference lab (Antech). We also have access to 24/7 radiologist reviews, as well as state-of-the-art CT, endoscopy, and minimally invasive equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Our Emergency Veterinarians will

• Care for in-hospital patients in the ER & ICU
• Collaborating with surgeons, other emergency doctors and general practitioners to ensure the best care for all patients
• Communicating with clients and referring veterinarians
• Training and mentoring support staff
