WHO YOU ARE:

ASC is seeking residency trained, Board Certified Internal Medicine Specialist to add to our new 24/7 emergency and surgical hospital Oceanside, New York. The selected candidate will join other skilled emergency clinicians, technicians, and surgical team. Our services will include Internal Medicine, Emergency/Critical Care, Oncology, and Surgery.

Our BRAND NEW hospital is equipped with oxygen cages, transfusion products, multi-parameter monitors, and a brand new ultrasound machines dedicated to our IM. We have a full in-house laboratory, as well as an established reference lab (Antech). We also have access to 24/7 radiologist reviews, as well as state-of-the-art CT, endoscopy, and minimally invasive equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Routine duties for our internist include:

• Perform diagnostic tests and exams

• Evaluate scans and tests.

• Use a variety of specialized medical equipment.

• Perform surgical procedures.

• Update patient files.

• Supervise technicians

• Provide professional consultations
